The station is nominated for Best Local Radio Station, with 5 Breakfast nominated for Best Local Radio Show, and Nick Hamman recognised in the Best Local Radio Personality category, says the station.
In addition, 5FM appears on screen, with Expresso and Tropika Island of Treasure nominated for Best Local TV Show — both hosted by 5FM's very own Zanele Potelwa.
Beyond radio, 5FM's footprint continues to expand across the country's influential live event and entertainment platforms. The station 'Ampli5s' events such as Comic Con and Ultra, both nominated for Best Event in Joburg, with Comic Con also shortlisted for Best Expo, adds the station.
