He was previously head of business development, having joined Relativ Media in 2016. Christoforos is replacing outgoing MD Richard Wilkinson, who is immigrating to New Zealand.

Christoforos says he was initially attracted to the company by the people, the ambition and belief system, which translates through its conduct of business, and his appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Relativ Media. The company has experienced growth over the last few years and continues to expand into exciting and innovative new areas of branding and advertising.
"We were a small team based out of The Wanderers Cricket Stadium with big aspirations. We’ve had a colourful time since then, filled with rapid growth, excitement, interesting learnings and our fair share of obstacles along the way," says Christoforos.
"As a business, we have morphed significantly throughout our journey, starting as a large-format static outdoor media owner, to now being a vastly different, multi-faceted entity. Looking back on our journey, it gives us immense pride to see the form that Relativ embodies today, with a lot still to come," says Christoforos.
Christoforos adds, "This appointment is a real privilege for me, one that I am thrilled to assume. It will allow me to contribute more positively toward moving Relativ Media forward with greater impact."

Christoforos has already assumed the majority of his functional responsibilities as MD, as a handover process has been underway since March when the notice to immigrate was communicated by Wilkinson to the group.
The appointment of Christoforos to the position of group MD is effective as of Friday, 14 August.
